SEO Master is designed to run locally in your browser. We prioritize your privacy and collect the minimum amount of data necessary to function.

• Page Data: When you click to analyze a webpage, the extension reads the public HTML elements (title, meta tags, headings, content) of the active tab.
• Web Vitals: The extension collects performance metrics (LCP, CLS, INP) directly from your browser APIs.
• No Personal Data: We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your name, email, IP address, browsing history, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).

2. How We Use Information

The extracted data is used strictly to generate SEO scores, technical audits, and AI/GEO readiness reports within the extension's side panel UI. All core analysis logic executes locally on your device.

3. Third-Party Services

To provide advanced AI-driven features (such as AI Snippet Optimization and SERP Gap Analysis), SEO Master sends anonymized text snippets to a free, public AI service (text.pollinations.ai).

• No personal data or user credentials are included in these requests.
• These requests are only triggered when you actively click the respective AI analysis buttons in the extension.

4. Data Storage

Analysis history and user preferences (such as your Light/Dark mode choice) are saved locally on your device using Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local). We do not have backend servers and do not store your data externally.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the Chrome Web Store listing and on this page.
