WebEdit Wizard ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that provides live website editing and offline PDF editing tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the Extension.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

WebEdit Wizard does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any personal details
• Your browsing history or visited URLs
• The content of any websites you visit or edit
• The content of any PDF files you upload and edit
• Financial or payment information
• Location data

2. PDF Processing – 100% Local and Offline

All PDF files you open or edit within the Extension are processed exclusively on your local device using your browser's memory. No PDF content is ever uploaded to any server, cloud storage, or third-party service. When you close the editor or browser, all processed data is permanently discarded.

3. Local Storage

The Extension uses your browser's local chrome.storage.local API solely to save your personal preferences, such as your chosen dark/light mode theme and your PRO license activation status. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted externally.

4. Permissions We Use

• activeTab: Allows the extension to access only the current tab, and only when you explicitly click the extension icon. We never passively monitor your browsing.
• scripting: Used to inject the editing toolbar into the current active page upon your explicit request.
• storage: Used to save your extension preferences locally on your device only.

5. Third-Party Services

The Extension does not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. No data is shared with or sold to any third party.

6. Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. It is a productivity tool intended for general audiences.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
